This sander works great for doing heavy (36 grit) stripping. For extreme jobs, this beast gets hot and eventually your arms get tired, but I have yet to hurt it. Was it worth the money vs. stripping by another means? Absolutely. If I needed to do it again, would I buy the same tool? Absolutely. I have had no problem with either dust collection or belt tracking and have probably run it for the equivalent of about 40 hours

I like the sander. It has plenty of power. It is just a little on the heavy side. Most sanders this size are however.

This is a very efficient tool. I was surprised at the quiet operation and speed with which it makes hardwoods seem to melt away to form the shapes I wanted. Excellent product. It arrived clean as new, perfect in every way., I will definitely look to more of their refurbished tools in the future.

I ordered this sander for my husband and worried because it was factory reconditioned. Don't worry if you buy one, it is very good quality (my husband was so impressed) and looks brand new!
