This is great tool and is no longer made. I was glad to get a reconditioned one through Amazon. I purchased an extra once my old one went in the shop for repair and was unsure it they could find a replacement switch. My 431 ( VS ) was fixed, is 12 years old and is still going strong. The sander is light enough to be controlled by one hand. It has great balance when holding in a vertical position. Tracking is good also. I also own the larger sander; DW433. It is great for larger jobs but is heavy and can not take the place of the lighter 430/431 when needed. DeWalt needs to bring back this tool to their line up. Newer is not always better and some great older model tools should remain as classics and should never be discontinued.
